Rules for Safe Structured Living Environment
Our rules create a safe, structured, and respectful environment where residents build accountability, develop life skills, maintain sobriety, and successfully transition into independent living.
General Conduct
Residents must show respect, maintain positive behavior, support community values, and follow staff instructions to ensure safety, structure, and a healthy living environment.
- Residents are expected to:
- Treat all residents, staff, and visitors with respect and courtesy.
- Maintain a positive and supportive community atmosphere.
- Avoid any form of harassment, bullying, or disruptive behavior.
- Follow all instructions from staff regarding safety and program requirements.
Sobriety & Substance Use
Residents must remain drug and alcohol free, participate in screenings, and report any relapse immediately to staff for support, guidance, accountability, and recovery assistance.
- Residents must:
- Abstain from all alcohol, illegal drugs, and unauthorized substances.
- Participate in random drug screenings as required.
- Report any relapse immediately to staff for guidance and support.
Curfews & Schedules
Residents must follow structured daily routines including curfews, meetings, work or school attendance, and completing responsibilities on time for personal growth.
- A structured routine is key to personal development and accountability:
- Residents must adhere to designated curfew times.
- Attendance at scheduled house meetings and activities is mandatory.
- Participation in recovery meetings, school, or work is required.
- Daily routines (chores, responsibilities) must be completed on time.
Household Responsibilities
Residents must share cleaning duties, maintain personal spaces, and keep communal areas clean, organized, and respectful to ensure a safe, comfortable living environment.
- Everyone contributes to keeping the home safe and comfortable:
- Residents share in cleaning and maintenance duties .
- Personal living spaces must be kept clean and organized .
- Communal areas should be respected and maintained .
Accountability & Progress
Residents participate in regular check-ins, communicate openly about challenges, attend mentorship sessions, and accept feedback to build responsibility, growth, and independence successfully.
- Our goal is to help residents build independence through responsibility:
- Regular check-ins with staff to track progress and goals .
- Open communication about challenges or setbacks .
- Participation in mentorship and guidance sessions .
- Willingness to accept constructive feedback .
Visitors & Guests
Visitors must be pre-approved by staff, allowed only during visiting hours, and residents remain responsible for guest behavior to maintain safety and structure.
- To maintain safety and structure:

- Guests are only allowed during designated visiting hours .
- Residents are responsible for the behavior of any approved guests .
Safety Rules
Residents must not bring weapons, report safety concerns immediately, and follow all emergency procedures including fire and evacuation rules to ensure overall safety.
